We often wonder what is the best flat iron hair when we “impossible” smooth (when I say not, c & rsquo; especially when it is refrise 30 minutes after placing the plates…). Personally, I don & rsquo; have not used a lot of different hair straighteners, j & rsquo;'ve had for years a straightening iron “sans marque” bought at low prices, and to my amazement, it was the & rsquo; one of the best !

However, you and I both know that & rsquo; too regularly use a flat iron, n & rsquo; is not very good for the health of our hair. And it & rsquo; is that I & rsquo; heard about the flat iron Steam (yes i do, c & rsquo; is the same principle as the iron). Otherwise not be able to m & rsquo; offer Steampod s & rsquo; Oreal (count over 200 €, cream off) j’utilise depuis un an le fer à lisser vapeur Babyliss ST292E. And it's just great !
Steam allows d & rsquo; hydrate the hair while smoothing, so that & rsquo; conventional straightener is simply the “cramer”. Iron has d & rsquo; one tank to fill to d & rsquo; emit steam. For my hair, which are half-long, to, very curly (between the mixed hair and frizzy), I have to fill about 4 Once the tank, during my smoothing which itself lasts 20 minutes. You will read that & rsquo; one to two passages enough to flawlessly smooth hair. In reality it takes a little more, especially the root (there always difficult to smooth…), but despite this, it does its job well.
My Review :
The + : This flat iron is suitable for me, with dry, brittle hair, l & rsquo; steam Action “limite” damage. It smoothes fine hair. The iron easy to handle, not too heavy and comes with a heat-resistant mat.
The – : Having to fill the tank several times during the smoothing.
The price varies between 70 € 90. For those who want a more affordable steam straightener, Darty has just released his, I l & rsquo; have not tested but if c & rsquo; is your case, n & rsquo; please leave me your comments.
Le fer à lisser vapeur Babyliss ST292E est une édition destinée à tous les types de cheveux, but especially for curly and frizzy hair. There is another version, le Babyliss ST95E, which is the most commercialized version, but the tank & rsquo; water is smaller.
Being a steam straightener, I recommend, for best results, d & rsquo; use before, a Spray-activated smoothing cream, thermo-protective. This will increase the result, and protect your hair. You can use those to the smoothing Steampod ! (And yes, c & rsquo; is the same principle).
Silk Cream & Gloss Hot Straight de l’Oréal Studio, that is as effective (and cheaper).
The smoothing cream Laura Sim & rsquo; s, I just discovered, sold in supermarkets for less than € 8 and m & rsquo; pleasantly surprise.
If you have wavy to curly hair, Your smoothing may hold 3 days (or 4), for curly frizzy hair, more sensitive to & rsquo; humidity, it will hold 2 days.
